I ordered a visor on 2/16 for a late February vacation. On 2/23 they advised that they had been having internet trouble and asked if I still wanted the order. I responded that I did still want it. No response, no visor. I followed up again on 3/14 and there was no response, no visor. Filed a paypal claim on 3/27 and on 3/29 they refunded my money claiming "out of stock" Don't waste your time or your money with these non-business people. I also ordered a hoop from this website and paid $16 for 1 to 3 day shipping which PayPal uses USPS it should've been here next day delivery I spent $50 and it has been over 2 1/2 weeks and still nothing and also no email back this company is terrible .

Did Not Receive Merchandise
I ordered an item and paid for the 3-day shipping via PayPal. The money was withdrawn immediately and 3 business days passed and I had not yet received the item, and then an entire business week passed (in total about 10-12 days after I placed the order) and I still had not received the item. I emailed the msn address on the website inquiring about my item with no response. Then, of course, I stumbled upon this website of customer complaints and I immediately submitted a claim via PayPal and requested a refund of my money. On the day of the claim's deadline, PayPal decided in my favor and provided a refund.

Did NOT get my merchandise after a month.
Still waiting for my two sequence vests. I paid a total of $88.50 for the vests and overnight delivery on December 7th and have not received my merchandise or any word of where this order stands. Very poor communications. At least answer our questions!!!!... The owner apologized on this site but I have not received my order or confirmation that it will be sent in the near future after paying for overnight delivery at $18.50 I have the Rec. # Please let me know where to send it and how I can speak to someone in person. This is a disappointing experience to have especially when it is my first time using The Island Palace for an order.

I ordered a shawl and have never received it. I've emailed the company 20 times and they do not respond. It's been more than a month!! Now I'm going to try to get my money back thru PayPal. What a hassle. They take my money and never bother to send my order or a refund. I was charged 9 bucks for shipping too!! Beware!! You will be ripped off!!!!

I ordered two *** packs paid for 2-3 day shipping because I had a last minute event in 5 days..they took the money that same day from my account ..Then day five came still no package..I called then several times and sent 3 emails Between Days 5 threw 10...no Response After 15days I Contacted PayPal (who I paid threw thank god) and they are filing a complaint so I get a refund...Buyer's be ware . I did not receive merchandise in 2 days ,which i paid fordo.
I placed an order on 6-17-14 and paid for it to be delivered in 2 days. Today is 6-21-14 and I still do not have my merchandise. I have tried to call and it goes straight to voicemail, and no response via email either. This place is a joke. Consumers please beware. I will never order from this place again. This company did not hesitate to take the money out of my bank account. I will place another phone call, I will contact my bank to see what they can do to refund my money. Its seems this site is a scam.

I ordered two cummerbunds from this small business and they did not hesitate to take the money out of my account as fast as I placed the order. That did not bother me BUT I never got an email saying when my product would be ship even though I paid $15 dollars for two day shipping. I have called and emailed several times only to get no response and a voice mail. I have to file a dispute with my bank!!! After reviewing this company on other websites, it looks like I am not the only one with this problem. PLEASE BE WARE with this company!!!

Hello All, Sorry if you had any problems, this year was a rough one, I am the owner of The Island Palace and have had many troubles with our suppliers in Indonesia this year, never before has this happened and unfortunately my back has been giving me many troubles as well. We are a small company and we are very sorry if you had a bad experience with our web site. Mad at The Island Palace
I call to confirm my order to make sure they got it and to find out when it would ship. Every time I call I get an answering machine. I get it. It is a small shop and no one to answer the phones. But even the recording is vague. I waited and never got a call back. I called again and got the machine. Now I am getting a little irritated. I have to say I will never order from this company again. Customer service is key and they are sorely lacking. I tried to send and email and got an error message. It could be on my end but that put me over the top.

I went to this website to buy an item that I needed quick so ordered 2 day shipping and I was very excited to get my item. I still haven't received it. Nobody use this website, they will steal your money
Two years later you are still ripping people off. Been a month and half can't get a response from you on email or phone.
I created a claim to get my money refunded by PayPal but $85 and paid for next day shipping. This place is a joke, you're a joke
I just filed for a refund threw PayPal because to u still have not fixed your issue....do not take people money until you are shipping the product. I shop alot on line and have never had an issue until now
